1. Look at the picture and jot down any words that come to your mind.
2. Use those words to form a sentence that tells us what these children are trying to say, that is, what they are thinking about.
3. What is the point it is trying to make? What do you think this picture is telling us?
4. Now, read the paragraph below the picture and react to both, what it says and the picture. How do you feel about it?

1) Words that came to my mind: discrimination-difference-unjust-unfair.
2) Nowadays, discrimination is a quite common, unjust and unfair practice based on treating people badly just because they are different from us.
3) I think that the picture is trying to tell us that we are all the same, apart from being different. What I want to say is that we should not judge or treat people badly because of the fact of being different. We should accept differences because in the end, we are all equal, all human beings.
4) The picture as well as what is written on it "transmit" a good teaching. We, as adults should learn from kids. They do not discriminate. They "see people with different eyes," paying attention to their inner sides, their souls, character and they do not make distinctions based on colour, sex, race or religion.
1- Words that come to my mind: love, friendship, tenderness, inocence, equality, respect, humility.
2- Love, tenderness, respect, inocence, humility and equality are the key ingredients to build up a true and strong friendship among people.
3- In my opinion, what this picture is telling us is that we do not have to choose our friends by their colors or physical characteristics. What really matters in life is what a person carries in their souls, i.e., their feelings, attitudes towards life and character. It is not fair to judge people on the basis of shapes and colors.
4- To my way of thinking, what the picture and the articles are trying to convey is that we are all human beings with the same rights to live a free and dignifying life. We cannot say that a person is better or worse than another one because of his/her language, sex, color, religion, status and so on. We have to take into account that we are all equals under the eyes of God.
